J. Stephen Robés received his undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit and his Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Robés was admitted to practice in Michigan in May of 1987. Mr. Robés is admitted to practice in all Michigan courts, including appellate courts.
Experience:
Mr. Robés has diversified experience, including serving as a former attorney for the Detroit Police Officers Association, representing numerous builders in the construction industry, as well representing manufacturers supplying parts and services to the automotive industry. Attorney Robés has practiced before the United States Tax Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio, to secure clients' rights. Additionally, Mr. Robés has represented numerous fast-food franchises in the purchase and sale of businesses.
